Guides’ fun grotto fundraiser
GIRL guides organised a Santa’s Grotto to raise money.
Guides aged between 10 and 14 years old, from 2nd Chester Guides at St Michael’s Church, organised the fundraising day
As well as the grotto, attractions including face painting and refreshments were provided to help raise £50 towards the cost of repairing one of the group’s tents.
Guide leader Helen Waterton said: “This time we needed to raise money for our own group and the guides were given responsibility for planning, advertising and decorating as well as looking after entertainment and gifts for the grotto.
