Children perform classic festive drama
CHILDREN as young as three years old have treated their friends and families to a special production of A Christmas Carol.
Pupils from The Sarah Bartholomew School in Dunham on the Hill, Frodsham, entertained parents and grandparents last Tuesday at the school which has been open for 21 years.
Frances Lawford, teaching assistant, made costumes and took care of scenery and sound, while drama teacher Janet Scofield helped the children, aged from three to 10, with their lines.
Headteacher Catherine O’Donovan said: “The youngest child taking part was only three years old and played Tiny Tim.
“But all the children absolutely loved it, especially when they sang at the end accompanied by music teacher William Bryn who played the banjo and guitar.”
The school also took part in a project called Advent Angels.
With the weather worsening, Cheshire Police has published a short video for drivers. View it here Read
