Chester Operatic Society secure Clwyd Theatr Cymru for next show

CHESTER Operatic Society has a roof over its head at last.

After months of uncertainty, the amateur company has finally been granted a week at Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Mold, in June for its forthcoming production of Fiddler on the Roof.

Chester’s lack of a theatre has proved difficult for the society which has had to find alternate venues for productions.

Vice president Ken Russell thanked Chester MP Christine Russell, for her support in helping to achieve this successful outcome.

Rehearsals for the show begin on January 7 at St Andrew’s United Reformed Church, Handbridge.
