News: Whitchurch man killed after A41 crash

A man has died after his moped collided with an HGV on the A41 Whitchurch Road at Nomansheath on Friday morning (December 18).

The 60-year-old Whitchurch man was killed when his blue PGO moped collided with the Scania HGV at around 10.22am.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene of the collision - but the driver was died at the scene.

The 46 year-old-driver of the HGV, who is from Flintshire, was uninjured in the collision.

Cheshire police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact Chester Road Traffic unit investigation unit on 08454580000.
