Weaver Vale Primary school pupils instil festive cheer in Frodsham

WEAVER Vale Primary School has touched the heart of a community with some festive cheer.

The school choir has been out and about carol singing by the Christmas tree in Frodsham and on the stage at the Frodsham Festival where the children also walked in the parade with Father Christmas and the reindeers.

The school also invited local senior citizens in to the school for Christmas lunch which was served by the Year 6 pupils.

The OAPs were then treated to a dress rehearsal of their nativity play.

Headteacher Kery Jarvis said: “The infant and nursery children put on a wonderful nativity play which they performed to a full house. There were many a tear being wiped away.

“This has been my first Christmas as Headteacher her at Frodsham Weaver Vale and it has been wonderful – the children, staff, parents and community members have made it very special and I look forward to many more.”
