VISITORS to St Laurence Church helped raise £1,700 for Claire House Hospice during the Frodsham Christmas Festival last weekend.
Featuring a tombola and stalls including cakes, jams, hook a duck, gifts, sweets and refreshments, families were given a warm welcome at the historic church.
Churchwarden Geoff Sharpe said: “The charity this year was Claire House and a total of £1,700 was raised.
“There were lots of stalls and games and the event has become very popular with festival-goers.”
