CHILDREN from a Blacon primary school have taken part in a regional charity concert.
Members of the school choir at JH Godwin, Melbourne Road, joined schools from across the North West in Young Voices on Monday, December 7.
All money raised from ticket sales went to children’s cancer charity CLICSargent.
Bursar at JH Godwin, Pam Chadwick, said: “This is the fourth year we have taken part in the event.
“Our choir has been working very hard since September and sang 12 songs as well as acting as backing singers.”
The 30-strong group are made up of Key Stage 2 pupils.
