Two talented choirs line up to perform at special Christmas event at Chester Market

TWO talented choirs will perform at Chester Market on Saturday, December 19.

The Chester Ladies Choir and the Kelsborrow Choir will both perform from the heart of the market between 11.30am and 12.30pm and again at 3pm on Saturday.

Cllr Lynn Riley, Executive Member for Area and Neighbourhood Working, said: “Chester market is at the heart of shopping in Chester, there is great value to be had from local traders and this weekend the amazing sounds of two fabulous choirs.”

Chester Market has a Christmas present collection box for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd. The traders are supporting this charity and encouraging shoppers to join them by donating a present.

Visitors to Chester as well as shopping at the indoor market will also be able to enjoy the ever-popular Christmas Market which will stand from Saturday, 5 to Sunday, 20 December at Town Hall Square.
