St Clare’s Primary School, Lache, gets creative in Christmas fair

FESTIVE fun was had in a Lache school’s annual Christmas fair on Friday.

A variety of seasonal events was held in St Clare’s Primary School to raise more than £500, with all pupils taking part to ensure the day was a success.

The event was organised by the school’s PTA and featured a milk bottle igloo, where visitors to the fair were invited to guess how many bottles had been used to create it.

Children from all year groups had collected the bottles and, with the help of teachers, built the sculpture.

The fair also featured a Santa’s grotto with a crafted Christmas fireplace scene, a pupils’ non-uniform day fundraiser and a tombola.
