Soroptimist International Chester, North Wales and Wirral welcomes new regional president Shirley Jones

A WOMEN’S group has welcomed a new president.
Shirley Jones, 58, has taken on the role as regional president of Soroptimist International (SI) Chester, North Wales and Wirral.
Shirley, who was born in South Africa, has twice been president of her local club SI Rhyl and district, and also served as regional benevolent officer. The former nurse lives in Rhyl and has her own care home business.
Among Shirley’s plans for her year of office is a Woman of Achievement competition.
The organisation wants nominations for: Business, professional, community and arts.
