CHESTER’S Nail Training Company is celebrating after another four students attained NVQ Nail Services Level 2.
The students - Hayley Mara, Melanie Baker, Suzanne Downey and Stacie Ellis - have all passed their NVQ after six months of studying at the Hoole college and will now each be embarking on the next step in their new careers.
As part of The Nail Training Company’s commitment to students, Stacie Ellis has been presented with the opportunity to start her career with a six month apprenticeship scheme at The Nail Spa.
This scheme enables recent graduates to gain valuable salon experience while continuing further studies.
She will be offering clients at The Nail Spa a range of services at technicians’ prices, which is a third of the cost of the consultants.
Hayley Mara has already secured employment at Pure Beauty in Shotton while Suzanne and Melanie are working towards setting up their own mobile businesses.
Fiona Green, director of The Nail Training Company, said: “We are thrilled that another four students have attained the level required to achieve NVQ Level 2 at The Nail Training Company.
“We are keen to go over and above our remit of training and actively work with students to help them into employment following achievement of their qualification.”
Early in the New Year, The Nail Training Company will be holding a jobs fair for the current intake of students with companies including Nails Inc and Steiner coming along looking for recruits and talking to students about their career aspirations.
The Nail Training Company is now enrolling for a further intake of students to start in January offering NVQ Level 2 & 3 Nail Services and Level 2 Beauty Therapy. In most cases funding is available.
Anyone interested in enrolling should contact The Nail Training Company on 01244 342633.
