Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service firefighters tackle arson attack at Blacon property under renovation

CHESHIRE Fire and Rescue Service was called to deal with an arson attack at a Blacon property under renovation on Wednesday night.

The deliberate blaze was reported at 9.46pm in Highfield Road.

Two appliances attended the scene, which saw a large fire on the ground floor of the building, which had a new roof put on earlier in the day.

Firefighters had successfully put out the blaze by 11.45pm.
