Christleton Primary School pupils pack shoeboxes full of presents for Operation Christmas Child

CHARITABLE pupils filled shoeboxes with presents to be sent to less fortunate children across the world.

Christleton Primary School has collected about 100 boxes to send to Africa, eastern Europe and Asia as part of the Operation Christmas Child. As well as including sweets, books and festive treats, pupils also wrote messages to those receiving the boxes.

Headteacher David Harker said: “It’s about sending a message of love to someone you have never met who is in need at Christmas time.”
