Bishop Heber High School pupils donate money to Clatterbridge Cancer Research

BUSINESS students at Bishop Heber High School were delighted to present cheques to Clatterbridge Cancer Research and Bishop Heber High School’s Healthy Living Project, totalling £3,511.66.

The money was raised at the recent Bolesworth Charity Walk which students organised at Bolesworth Castle.

Events fundraiser Samantha Archibald, from Clatterbridge, worked closely with the students in organising the event and supplied promotional material which students used to support their campaign.

Sue Griffith from the school said: “Samantha was pleased to collect the cheque on behalf of the charity and commented on the professionalism of students in organising the walk.”

A visit is planned to Clatterbridge Cancer Research’s laboratories in Liverpool for students to see first hand the research which is taking place linked to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
