New website offers one-stop guide to Chester and west Cheshire health and social care

A new website dedicated to health and social care in Chester and west Cheshire has been launched.

The one-stop web guide, funded by the local health community, offers the public information on health and social care services in West Cheshire, as well as signposting people to local GP’s, dentists and healthy living choices.

The project is supported by NHS Western Cheshire, The Countess of Chester Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Community Care Western Cheshire and Cheshire West and Chester Council.

A spokesperson for the organisations said: "It is our job, along with other organisations that support patients, to listen to what local people say about their health needs and their experience of local services.

"The website www.westcheshirehealthandcare.nhs.uk will help people get information to help them understand local priorities and plans and also to support them to make choices about health and well-being.

"We are delighted to have this chance to demonstrate to the people of west Cheshire how we work in partnership with local health and social care services."
