Weaver Vale Housing Trust start new campaign to help keep residents warm this winter

A CAMPAIGN to help Frodsham residents stay warm this winter has been launched by Weaver Vale Housing Trust.

On Thursday, November 26, from 10am-4pm at Frodsham Children’s Centre, the Warm and Well event will offer practical advice to customers on gas and electricity tariffs, including help with applying to trusts for help toward gas, electric or water arrears, plus planning and budgeting money.

Sabine Isaac, Weaver Vale Housing Trust’s money management officer, said: “The winter months can be an extremely difficult time for many people and the aim of these events is to give our customers as much advice as possible on how to manage their money so they will be warm and comfortable during cold weather.”

Free goody bags will be given out to trust customers at the event, containing useful items to help beat the winter chill.

The trust has also teamed up with Cheshire Neighbours Credit Union to give customers help to combat money difficulties.

Trust customers, who open an account with the Credit Union at the events, will receive £10.
