Andrews and Andreas get free entry to Chester Zoo on St Andrew’s Day

WHAT’S in a name? Quite a bit if you happen to be called Andrew or Andrea so it would seem.

Visitors to Chester Zoo who have one of the monikers as a first name will be given an extra warm welcome on St Andrew’s Day - November 30.

Andrews and Andreas will be given free entry for the Scots’ day which will also see Stephen McKeown, the zoo’s head of discovery and learning, donning his kilt and entertaining visitors with poetry.

Stephen, who was born in Scotland, will entertain visitors by reading a Burns poem and Andrew, Andreas and their families will also be able to enjoy warming Scottish treats in the zoo’s restaurants and cafes.
