Castle Park Trust

FRODSHAM Town Council has chosen to become a co-opted member of Castle Park Trust.

A councillor representative, with no voting rights, will sit on the trust to help manage the popular parkland estate where a major scheme is ongoing to restore the historic site and improve public leisure facilities.

However, the town council agreed to “work towards” sharing joint trusteeship of Castle Park with Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The park’s project manager, Claire Keane, has also outlined her proposals for a new User Group and Friends of Castle Park group.
