Police urge victims in school violence to come forward

nVICTIMS of assaults and abuse in school are being urged by Cheshire police to report their attackers.

Cheshire Police Inspector Richard Rees said: “No pupil or member of staff should be a victim of violent behaviour. Any incident of harassment or intimidation that is reported to the Police will be investigated and appropriate action taken against those who show disregard not only for the education system and their peers, but for the law.

“We are keen for school staff members and young people of Chester to feel safe and secure in their school environment and urge anyone who feels they have been a victim of assault or similar to come forward and report the matter to Cheshire Police”
