Woman hospitalised following house fire in Little Sutton
A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a fire in Little Sutton, Ellesmere Port.
Firefighters were called to a house fire on Chester Road, Little Sutton, at 4.23am this morning (Sunday).
Three applicances attended the blaze and a woman was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said no smoke alarm was installed at the property and firefighters would be returning to carry out a home safety check.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
