Halton Haven Hospice hosts bridal fayre

A BRIDAL fayre to raise funds for Halton Haven Hospice will return next month.

Following the success of the inaugural event last year, the hospice will hold this year’s showcase on Sunday, October 4, at Canal Walk, Runcorn, at 2pm.

Ann Gaskel, volunteer at Halton Haven Hospice, said: “In these tough economic times everyone is looking for ways to reduce costs, whether it be your daily shop or your future wedding. We want brides to know that you can reduce costs without sacrificing quality. The dresses we receive are truly breathtaking. I would like to thank everyone who has donated their dresses to the hospice.”

The hospice provides skilled nursing and medical care within a peaceful and relaxed setting for people whose illness cannot be cured in Frodsham, Helsby and across the region.

A bridal catwalk will feature bride’s dresses and groom’s attire, along with evening wear and fancy dress. All the dresses can be purchased on the day.

Wedding services from photography, car hire and wedding singers will be on hand so you can make your special day complete.

Tickets are priced at £2.50 with all proceeds being donated to Halton Haven Hospice and can be purchased at any of the hospice shops in Runcorn, Widnes and Frodsham.
