Best Friends Day Nursery staff and children enjoy fancy dress event as part of Talk Like a Pirate Day
YOUNGSTERS and staff members at a Chester nursery brushed up on their pirate lingo with a fancy dress day.
Children and teachers at Best Friends Day Nursery, Hoole, donned eye patches, hooks and hats to go with their pirate-themed gear.
The event was held as part of International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
Julie Davies, co-owner of the nursery, was pleased with how the day went.
she said: “It went really well, both children and staff enjoyed it.
“It coincided with the nursery’s I Can accreditation, which helps pre-school children learn to speak and use language.”
