Free adult ballet workshops in Chester

ASPIRING ballerinas are being given the chance to take part in workshops and see the English National Ballet’s production of Giselle for free.

The company has teamed up with Sky Arts to offer the opportunity to experience just what it is like to be a professional ballet dancer with a series of adult ballet workshops.

The project has been organised to raise awareness for the forthcoming digital switchover which begins across the Granada region on November 4. There will be two classes taking place at the University of Chester on Saturday, to coincide with the production of Giselle in Manchester from Wednesday, September 23.

The workshops will take place between 11am-noon and 1-2pm.

To complete the experience, each lucky participant will receive one free ticket to the evening performance of Giselle at the Manchester Palace Theatre.

Email skyarts@enbmasterclass.com with the location, time and date of class you would like to attend.
