A HOTEL manager is climbing high for charity.
Chester Ramada Jarvis hotel manager Ian McGuigan is donning his walking boots to hike up Snowdon on Saturday, October 3, with fellow staff members in aid of Save the Family, Caudwell Children and Nicolas Fund charities.
Ian said: “I am delighted to be supporting three great charities that work so hard for fantastic causes.
“I am hoping to make it up and down the mountain in a good time of five hours.”
Save the Family fundraising officer Angella Rawsthorne said: “I am really grateful to Ian and his staff for taking up the challenge and raising money for Save the Family and the other two charities.
“The day is going to be terrific fun.”
Event organiser Business 4 Breakfast hopes the trek will raise £12,000, which will be split between the three charities.
The trek will be split into three groups depending on experience and fitness.
It starts at 8am at Llanberis Mountain Railway, Snowdonia and is £10 to register. For details, ring 01244 409100 or e-mail angella.rawsthorne@savethefamily.uk.com.
