Thief armed with imitation firearm steals cash from Chester shop
A MAN armed with an imitation firearm stole cash from a shop in Chester.
He entered the store in Brook Lane, Hoole, at 3pm on Thursday and demanded that two staff members hand over the contents of the till.
He then fled with the cash down Ermine Road.
The two workers were not injured, but were left in shock.
The man is described as being in his late 30s, of stocky build, wearing a navy blue cap, a green fleece and light coloured jeans.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to call them on 0845 458 0000, or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
