Teenager found with a kilo of cocaine

A MAN has appeared in court charged with intending to sell cocaine with an estimated street value of £45,000.
Alexander Demetriou, 20, of Suffolk, threw the one kilo package over a hedge as police were chasing him in Tushingham on Friday, August 21.
At Chester Magistrates Court on Monday, Demetriou denied knowing what was in the package when the driver of the car he was in asked him not to let the police see it.
Demetriou did not have to enter a plea and was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates Court again on October 5 for committal to Chester Crown Court.
