House fire on Wrexham Road, Chester

FIRE crews were called out to a house in Wrexham Road on Saturday evening after a chimney fire.
Two fire engines and an aerial appliance dealt with the blaze, which had spread into the loft space, and extinguished it within two hours.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said there was "quite a bit of damage" to the roof apex and that some slates had to be removed for safety, but no-one was injured.
