Peckforton castle hosted a fun filled Pyjama Drama

PECKFORTON Castle hosted a fun-filled pyjama party with a CBeebies celebrity guest.

More than 140 children from across the county enjoyed the first Pyjama Drama Turrets and Tiaras day inside the castle.

The company Pyjama Drama had written story especially for Peckforton Castle and it featured new original music, live theatre, storytelling, games, circus skills and face painting.

CBeebies favourite Mister Maker, Phil Gallagher, ran arts and crafts sessions for everyone and took part in the drama as the ‘King of the Castle’.

Peckforton Castle’s managing director Chris Naylor said: “The day combined the magic of a beautiful setting like Peckforton Castle, with the magic of fairytales and imagination. It was especially enchanting to see so many small children enjoying the castle grounds.”
