Food festival at Sandiway hailed a huge success

THOUSANDS of enthusiasts enjoyed a taste of Cheshire as Blakemere Craft Centre held a Continental Food Fair over the weekend.
More than 4,000 visitors sampled some of the county’s finest produce, along with dishes from around the world, at the free festival.
Celebrity chef Brian Mellor was the star of the show, hosting a series of cookery demonstrations.
Guests took advantage of the good weather in a specially built beer garden, which boasted a fine selection of European lagers, along with some popular local ales.
Organiser Ginny Brooks-White said: “The turnout was amazing. We have had a top weekend of entertainment.”
