Chester Lions Club’s charity clay pigeon shoot on target to raise funds

CHESTER Lions Club was on target to raise funds in a charity clay pigeon shoot.

The event took place in Trafford House Farm, Mickle Trafford, and saw 115 entrants in four classes.

The winner of Class A was Pat Hollins, Class B honours went to Jamie Stevenson, Class C was won by John Tenison and in the ladies category Bridget Barry emerged triumphant.

Chester Lion Ron Cain said: “Over the past 17 years we have raised in excess of £10,000, which is added to our local charity account.

“We would like to pay thanks to our sponsors for supporting us each year – Pochin Construction, Teal Sport UK, Alfred Green and Partners, Willington Hall, Creative Concrete, butchers Peter Jones and Phil Salt.”
