Dodleston Brownies raise £100 for Railway Children charity
DODLESTON Brownies have taken part in Girlguiding’s The Power of Dreams project.
The project helps to raise money for the Railway Children charity and the Brownies learned about life on the streets for runaway children in the UK and around the world.
The project is part of Girl-guiding UK’s Changing the World initiative to mark the centenary in 2010.
The Brownies raised £100 through a fundraising evening.
Snowy Owl Rachel Davies said: “They are proud to have raised the money for such a worthy cause.”
