Vicars Cross United Reformed Church opens £34,000 improvements to kitchen.
A CHURCH kitchen has been refitted.
Vicars Cross United Reformed Church not only has a new £34,000 kitchen but a new lounge/committee room.
On hand to carry out the official opening at a special coffee morning at the Oldfield Drive church was project manager for the scheme Ian Cook. The church decided Mr Cook was the best person for the job as he was the ‘main man’ throughout the scheme.
Thanking everyone involved, the minister, the Rev Tim Jackson, said:“Special thanks to Ian for his drive, energy, enthusiasm and tenacity from the very beginning.”
Fundraising by church members and friends and grants has financed the scheme
