King-sized sporting fun for Chester children with King’s Camps

YOUNGSTERS have been indulging in sporting activities fit for a king thanks to a charity’s work.

The King’s Camps sessions are running throughout the summer holidays in the grounds of the King’s School Chester, Wrexham Road.

Children aged four to 17 have been taking part in activities such as football and basketball.

Lucy Roberts, PR and marketing officer for the King’s Foundation charity, which runs the King’s Camps course, said: “We help children get active by giving them something to do during the summer holidays.

“The course helps build confidence in them, develops new skills and allows children to make friends.

“We also have an emphasis on making sure the children have a good time.”

For more information about the camps and the other courses available, call 0845 643 5272 or visit www.kingscamps.org.
