Chester-based Raynershine Landscape’s garden scoops gold award at RHS Show Tatton Park
nA HUXLEY-based garden designer is dancing with joy after striking gold at the RHS Show Tatton Park.
Raynershine Landscapes Ltd’s Kate Rayner, design, entitled Strictly Come Gardening was based on the elegance and style of ballroom dancing.
The garden combined practical elements with gentle flowing curves to generate movement and also included a sunken seating area, bespoke steel sculpture and a serpentine rill leading to the mirror-ball water feature.
The romantic waltz was represented with grasses and perennials in soft, pastel tones, which contrasted with the bold foliage and vibrant colours of the Paso Doble.
