BiG Storage hosts Big Lunch in Chester

A COMMUNITY fun day was held at BiG Storage on Sunday as part of the Big Lunch street party celebrations taking part across the country.

Millions attended the street parties and picnics which were held across the country encouraging people to meet their neighbours.

Sadie Lund of BiG Storage said: “The Big Lunch was held at BiG Storage and we raised several hundred pounds for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd despite the atrocious weather.”

BiG Storage, which sponsors the Cheshire Jets basketball team, hosted the event on Sunday, July 19, from noon, and put on entertainment for adults and children, as well as an opportunity to tuck into the fayre on offer.

Andrew Donaldson of BiG Storage said: “Everyone was welcome to come along and have their fill of local fayre while they joined in and enjoyed all the entertainment that was on offer.”
