Delays expected as Chester city centre power supply line is repaired

MOTORISTS in Chester city centre have been warned to expect delays while repairs are carried out to a damaged power supply line.

Early on Sunday morning, one of the two high voltage power supplies to Chester city centre developed a fault.

ScottishPower began work to repair the damage, which is expected to last until Wednesday.

Until the work is complete, the left feeder lane from the A51 Boughton/The Bars to Grosvenor Park Terrace will remain closed.

Traffic can turn left at the traffic lights, but delays should be expected, especially at peak periods.
