Police leave the scene of Hoole Lane Flats explosion
FIREFIGHTERS have now left Hoole Lane flats, the scene of a dramatic explosion shortly after 1am this morning. Neighbours were awoken by the incident and firefighters and police arrived quickly to the scene.
Police have sealed off part of Hoole Lane and diverted traffic on to Hoole Road and Pipers Lane whilst a team including National Grid, police and Chesire Fire Service investigate the causes of the explosion.
