Winners of RHS Show Tatton Park schools competition prepare for show
SCHOOLCHILDREN are putting the finishing touches to winning entries for next week’s RHS Tatton Park Show.
The pupils have decorated fibreglass flowers they won in a competition run by The Chronicle, in conjunction with Wild in Art and the RHS.
The six winning schools, All Saints Gresford School, Wrexham, Overleigh St Mary’s Primary School, Handbridge, Whitchurch C of E Infant School, Kingsley Community and Nursery School, St David’s Catholic Primary School, Mold and Delamere C of E Primary School, will see their designs decorate the driveway approaching the park.
After the show has ended, the winners will have their creation returned to the school to become a permanent floral fixture and a memento of their success.
This year sees more activities for children than ever before with interactive growing features, a bugs, bees and blooms tent and flower beds celebrating storybook favourites..
