Three men admit city centre brawl charges

THREE men have appeared in court in relation to a brawl in Chester city centre.

At Chester Crown Court on Monday, Mehran Shah, 22, of Essex Road, Chester, admitted affray, Mohammed Hamza, 23, also of Essex Road, Chester, admitted wounding with intent and Rofique Miah, 31, of Henderson Road, Widnes, admitted ABH.

A 25-year-old man from Mold sustained a facial injury and a 19-year-old male from Ellesmere Port received a minor head injury during the incident in Northgate Street at about 3am on Wednesday, May 20.

The three men will return to court on Friday, August 7, for sentencing.
