Roadworks information for Highways Agency roads in Cheshire – seven days beginning Monday, July 13 2009

Junction 7 to Junction 8 Ellesmere Post (bridge improvements) – various lane closures and speed restrictions in both directions overnight for the refurbishment of two railway bridges, plus installation of new safety barriers and lighting. Includes closure of one northbound lane south of Junction 8 from 10pm Friday July 10 until 5am Monday, July 13. Project continues until December.

Junction 3 Bowdon View Bridge (bridge works) – Bowden View Bridge, linking Junction 3 of the M56 westbound with the A556, is closed until further notice for investigation of the bridge structure. A clearly signed diversion is in place.

Junction 15 Ellesmere Port (resurfacing) – closure of the westbound exit slip road to the M53, overnight from 10pm until 5am each night, beginning on Monday, July 13 and continuing until the end of July, for resurfacing.
