Tattenhall marina on Shropshire Union Canal opens to narrowboats
THE newly-opened Tattenhall Marina will provide a much-needed boost to Cheshire’s rural economy.
The facility, which took just eight months to construct, will attract people from across the country and will benefit many local businesses.
With the recent improvements to the Cheshire Ice Cream Farm and plans for affordable housing and a caravan park for holidaymakers, Tattenhall is rapidly becoming one of the county’s top destinations.
Bolesworth land agent Matthew Morris explained: “We are already starting to see the benefits for local businesses such as shops and pubs, so this is really great news for the village of Tattenhall.”
