Staff at Netherton Hall presented a cheque for £7,800 to Halton Haven Hospice

STAFF from Netherton Hall presented Halton Haven Hospice with £7,800 after their summer music festival.

Hundreds visited Frodsham’s first charity festival, held on Sunday, May 24, in the grounds of the Chester Road pub, drawing a crowd of more than 450.

Shaun Pollard, of the hospice, said: “This is the highest donation to the hospice from an event this year and it will touch 100 patients and their families.

“I would like to thank the organisers and all who supported the event.”

Netherton Hall manager Kelly Martin added: “My staff and I were thrilled to have been given the opportunity to host the festival this year.”
