Paddington’s birthday celebrated at Jigsaw nursery in Eccleston

TODDLERS gathered for two birthdays in one. Paddington Bear dropped in for his 25th birthday party at Jigsaw Nursery, which is celebrating a decade of looking after children.

More than 60 families turned up on Saturday, when a bouncy castle, barbecue, games and stalls were laid on at the Eccleston nursery.

The event raised £1,375 for the nursery.

Deputy manager Charlotte Thomas said: “Companies donated prizes for the raffle. There were tickets to the zoo and the races, as well as wines and perfume.”
