Eaton Primary school pupils celebrate success at Cheshire Show

EATON Primary school pupils enjoyed success at the Cheshire Show.

The children were awarded first prize of £100 in the Vale Royal Lions annual competition which challenged them to make items from recyclable waste materials.

Last year’s subject was an animals and this year’s was a scarecrow.

Pupils of nine schools took part, with Norley C of E Primary School and Leftwich Community Primary School taking second and third places respectively.

Maureen Hellyer-Brown of Vale Royal Lions said: “Teachers agreed that the children had enjoyed the contest and were looking forward to next year’s event.”
