TThe Barn restaurant in Mickle Trafford appoints new head chef Nicolas Walton

THE BARN restaurant at Bridge Trafford, has appointed Nicolas Walton as new head chef.

As a Welsh Chef of the Year finalist, Nicolas’ pedigree is unquestionable.

An assistant to Marco Pierre White, Anton Mosiman and many other dignitaries of the catering nobility, his training started at the Dorchester and was followed by stints at Harvey’s Bistro Bruno and Restaurant at Hyde Park, not to mention two cruises on the QE2.

Nicolas, pictured, joins after leaving Allt Yr Ynys from Alderly Edge Hotel, where he attained a much coveted AA 3 Rosettes award.

A star not only in the kitchen, Nicolas has also featured in a number of TV cookery programmes demonstrating his culinary skills.
