Newton Primary School pupils prepare for summer fair
TEACHERS at Newton Primary School will need their wetsuits this Saturday as the children prepare to play sponge-the-teacher at their summer fair.
The event, on Kingsway West, will be opened by Lord Mayor of Chester Cllr John Ebo at 2pm.
Highlights include pony rides, a bouncy castle, beat-the-goalie and other traditional produce stalls.
Teacher Charlotte Pleavin said: “We are hoping to make the fair a real community event and invite everyone to come along.
“We hope to raise money for our new adventure playground.”
