A green party was held at Frodsham Care Centre to celebrate being highly rated by the Care Quality Commission

A GREEN party was held at Frodsham Care Centre to celebrate being highly rated by the Care Quality Commission.

Following the centre being awarded green status – meaning it was rated ‘good’ on all factors, particularly those relating to safety and management – a full day of celebrations was held on Friday, June 19.

Project manager Julie Thornett said: “The day went really well. All the staff and residents enjoyed themselves and we had the mayor of Frodsham Geoff Bath and MP Mike Hall in attendance. Everyone had a really nice day.

“The team at Frodsham have been working continuously with local professional partners and residents’ families to ensure they can achieve the highest standards within the home. The feedback from residents and their relatives has been very positive and we are delighted.”

Musicians and refreshments were on offer for all as well as the Royal College of Nursing who put on a display showing dignity in care and a holistic therapist offered complimentary relaxation therapies throughout the day.
