A thief wearing a balaclava and wielding a knife stole vodka and cigarettes from a Blacon newsagents

A BALACLAVA wearing thief wielding a knife stole cigarettes and vodka from a Blacon newsagents.
The male offender, wearing a black top and black balaclava, entered the McColl’s newsagents on Blacon Avenue, Chester, at about 9.20pm on Friday, June 22.
He walked behind the counter brandishing a knife and stole the goods.
A Cheshire police spokesperson said: “The offender left on foot towards Wordswoth Crescent. A small number of customers, including children, were in the store. Nobody was injured but people were left shaken.”
