A TEENAGER was struck by a passing lorry while walking down a main road at 4am this morning.

The 17-year-old was walking along the A49 near to White Barn crossroads, Cuddington, in the direction of Warrington when the lorry clipped him.

He was left with head injuries and taken to Leighton Hospital, Crewe.

Police spokesperson Jo Preihs said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision at about 4am this morning, Thursday, June 18.

“Two men were walking a long the A49 when they past a HGV which clipped one of them causing him to receive minor head injuries.”
