Youngsters take part in Barnardo’s Big Toddle at Chester Zoo
CHILDREN from Guilden Sutton Day Nursery had stars in their eyes this week.
The youngsters met ex-Coronation Street actor Lee Boardman at the Barnardo’s Big Toddle at Chester Zoo.
Baby room supervisor Bev Hall said: “He was there to start us off at the beginning and was telling us how his little boy took part last year. He was lovely!”
Actress Jennifer James, who also appeared in Coronation Street, as barmaid Geena Gregory, was also at the children’s charity fundraiser and she touched base with youngsters from St Mark’s Playgroup in Saltney.
Tushingham Toddlers and Hanmer Playgroup also took part.
The Barnardo’s Big Toddle is a short sponsored walk for under- fives which takes place across the country.
